MIXED MEDIUM CONSTRUCTIONS
The materials used in this series are acrylics, tapes, plaster, papers, oil pastels, graphite, found objects, fabric, stitching, etc. all collaged together. The compositions hopefully are both thought provoked and thought provoking. Unique combinations of creative flow, process and structure that requires an integrated way of thinking in layers, shapes and textures. At its core the work is an attempt to push the collaged media in an authentic mixed medium way.
I aim to create art that is honest, raw and approachable to everyone ... letting the viewer interpret his own connection to the pieces.

WOODEN WALL SCULPTURES
Minimalist and contemporary these painted wooden pieces are constructed mostly using birch panels, plywood, pine findings and found objects finished with acrylic color applications or acrylic and oil based washes. Making use of a limited color pallet, I focus on the movement of the composition, balance and form. The finishes are slightly distressed adding to the line that I straddle between vintage and contemporary.
